Beena Mishra is an Uttarakhand-born, Delhi-bred, MBA and Marketing Manager with over 13 years of corporate experience. A humanitarian and an avid nature-lover, her connection to locals was the inspiration behind setting up Hamara Gaon Ghar foundation. Her innate understanding of the lack of basic amenities in the mountains has been pivotal in developing our programs on education and employment in Uttarakhand.
Suman Mishra

Managing Editor at Rekhta Foundation
A scholar rooted in the Bhakti and Sufi tradition and a poet of contemplative expression, Suman Mishra serves as Editor at Sufinama, an initiative of the Rekhta Foundation. He is also credited with editing eleven significant volumes on India’s rich and diverse Qawwali tradition, contributing to the documentation and dissemination of this important cultural heritage.
Mishra’s intellectual and creative pursuits are guided by a commitment to the universal values of peace, love, and human solidarity. Drawing upon the syncretic ethos of the Bhakti and Sufi tradition, his philosophical orientation informs and shapes the vision of the Hamara Gaon Ghar Foundation, particularly in its pursuit of sustainable and holistic models of community development
Rahul Rawat

Born in Delhi, Rahul Rawat currently works as an Assistant Manager at a Ghaziabad-based Finance Company. Rahul traces his ancestral roots to Chamoli district of Uttarakhand and has travelled across the length and breadth of the state. His travel experience and outgoing personality serve as a great asset to the Foundation as we work towards understanding core issues in the state’s hilly countryside.

With over a decade of editorial and commercial experience, Aalok Soni is among India’s leading professional photographers. His body of work has garnered national and international exposure; spanning across the Indian film industry to corporate firms whilst helming cover shoots for mainstream publications and editorial shoots as the Principal Photographer for the Hindustan Times. A true artist and passionate traveller and nature-lover, Aalok brings his love for hospitality, curiosity for unexplored treks and trails to further our eco-tourism efforts at the Foundation in the near future.

Ravindra Singh has been serving as the librarian at Gaon Ghar Library for the past three years. With his consistent efforts and deep engagement with readers, he plays a key role in nurturing a culture of reading within the community.

Mahesh Negi works as the manager and caretaker of Library Village. He oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures that the space remains welcoming, functional, and well-maintained for all visitors.

Mrs. Reena is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and supporting essential daily tasks at the library. Her work, though often behind the scenes, is vital in creating a comfortable and inviting environment.
